Windham County bat control

We are experts in bat control, and are not a typical Windham County, Connecticut bat exterminator company. We are the best in Windham County. We do not use poisons or traps to remove bats, as both methods are illegal, not to mention that poison is inhumane. When removing bats, we use the humane exclusion barrier method to permanently keep bats away from your property. We completely solve your bat problem by taking these steps:

  • Inspect the entire property from top to bottom
  • Seal shut entry areas, no matter how small
  • Place one-way exclusion barriers over other entry areas
  • Monitor exclusion barriers for bat activity at dawn and dusk
  • Once there is no more activity and no more bats in your building, we're done
  • When necessary, we clean bat guano and replace damaged insulation

What Prices Do We Charge?

Every bat situation is different: How large is the bat colony? What type of building? Do you need cleanup? Call us and we can give pricing for your specific situation.

Windham County bat removal tip of the month: Biology of Mexican Freetail Bat: life cycle, habitat, diet, behavior - The Mexican freetail bat is one of the most common bats in the southwestern United States, despite the fact its name implies you might only see it in Mexico. To be fair, the highest concentrations of this creature are in Mexico and Texas, but it does have a far-reaching territory. Unlike other bats, the Mexican freetail is built for speed. Its smaller body, maxing out just under 5 inches, is designed to make it aerodynamic. It is so attuned to flight that it has been clocked going speeds up to 60mph. Mexican freetails are often easily identified by their stubbed noses, large ears, and hairless tail. Freetails live in massive colonies, more so than any other mammal in the United States, and they are credited for most examples of mass-bat flight out of popular tourist locations, like Carlsbad Caverns. Like other bats, Mexican freetail bats emerge in the evening to hunt flying insects. They mate relatively soon after waking up from hibernation, and they usually only bear one offspring.
