Tuscaloosa bat control

We are experts in bat control, and are not a typical Tuscaloosa, Alabama bat exterminator company. We are the best in Tuscaloosa County. We do not use poisons or traps to remove bats, as both methods are illegal, not to mention that poison is inhumane. When removing bats, we use the humane exclusion barrier method to permanently keep bats away from your property. We completely solve your bat problem by taking these steps:

  • Inspect the entire property from top to bottom
  • Seal shut entry areas, no matter how small
  • Place one-way exclusion barriers over other entry areas
  • Monitor exclusion barriers for bat activity at dawn and dusk
  • Once there is no more activity and no more bats in your building, we're done
  • When necessary, we clean bat guano and replace damaged insulation

What Prices Do We Charge?

Every bat situation is different: How large is the bat colony? What type of building? Do you need cleanup? Call us and we can give pricing for your specific situation.

Tuscaloosa bat removal tip of the month: Biology of Evening Bat: Appearance, biology, life cycle, habitat, diet, behavior - The evening bat is very similar in appearance to the big brown bat, and the differences between the two can be difficult to identify from sight alone. Most prominently, the evening bat is smaller than the big brown bat and has a rounded aspect of the outer ear in comparison. Evening bats are found primarily in the colonial United States, though they do migrate south in the fall rather than succumb to a deep slumber for the winter. Unlike some other bat species, the evening bat mates in the fall and females give birth in May or June to up to three offspring. Within 9 weeks the pups are completely weaned and well on their way to living the two-five year lifespan expected of these bats. The evening bat is not a cave-dwelling bat, preferring to roost in tree crevices and loose bark. This allows easy access for hunting the cucumber beetles, Japanese beetles, carabid beetles, and June bugs it prefers, though it will also include flying ants, spittle bugs, pomace flies, stinkbugs, and small moths in its diet.
