Welcome to Oakland Bat Control! We are a pest control company operating in Alameda County, California. We specialize in the permanent removal of bats from your house or attic. Having bats overrun your building or attic is not a situation you want to be in. Their droppings, called guano, smell terrible, and are a potential health risk. Whenever we remove bats from your house or attic, we use humane methods and ensure that bats are PERMANENTLY kept away. We exclude the bats through one-way exclusion funnels or netting. We are not a Oakland bat exterminator company or a Oakland pest control for bats business - we are wildlife specialists only, and we focus on bats first and foremost. Call us 24/7 at 510-900-3787 to schedule an appointment the same day or the next. We aren't considered Oakland's best animal removal company for nothing! Oakland bat control

We are experts in bat control, and are not a typical Oakland, California bat exterminator company. We are the best in Alameda County. We do not use poisons or traps to remove bats, as both methods are illegal, not to mention that poison is inhumane. When removing bats, we use the humane exclusion barrier method to permanently keep bats away from your property. We completely solve your bat problem by taking these steps:

  • Inspect the entire property from top to bottom
  • Seal shut entry areas, no matter how small
  • Place one-way exclusion barriers over other entry areas
  • Monitor exclusion barriers for bat activity at dawn and dusk
  • Once there is no more activity and no more bats in your building, we're done
  • When necessary, we clean bat guano and replace damaged insulation

What Prices Do We Charge?

Every bat situation is different: How large is the bat colony? What type of building? Do you need cleanup? Call us and we can give pricing for your specific situation.

Oakland bat removal tip of the month: What do wildlife rehabilitators do with bats? - Bats are no different than any other animal when it comes to rehabilitation. If an orphaned or injured bat is found, a wildlife rehabilitator will take the animal in and care for it until it is healthy and able enough to survive. A very important thing of note, however, is that a wildlife rehabber cannot take in bats (or are generally not supposed to) if a lay person has touched them with their bare hands. In this situation, the health department considers the lay person to have been potentially exposed to rabies. Unfortunately, a bat in this situation will have to be taken to the designated rabies quarantine facility (usually a vet office or laboratory) and humanely euthanized for rabies testing. Bats that do make it to the rehab facility are fed and doctored as needed. When they are strong enough, they are given daily time to fly and strengthen their wings. Once the rehabilitator feels they are capable enough to be on their own, the bats are released in an area with plenty of cover. Though a released bat may start off solitary, they will eventually join the local colony once they encounter other bats feeding in the evening.
