Middletown bat control

We are experts in bat control, and are not a typical Middletown, Connecticut bat exterminator company. We are the best in Middlesex County. We do not use poisons or traps to remove bats, as both methods are illegal, not to mention that poison is inhumane. When removing bats, we use the humane exclusion barrier method to permanently keep bats away from your property. We completely solve your bat problem by taking these steps:

  • Inspect the entire property from top to bottom
  • Seal shut entry areas, no matter how small
  • Place one-way exclusion barriers over other entry areas
  • Monitor exclusion barriers for bat activity at dawn and dusk
  • Once there is no more activity and no more bats in your building, we're done
  • When necessary, we clean bat guano and replace damaged insulation

What Prices Do We Charge?

Middletown bat removal tip of the month: Biology of Little Brown Bat: life cycle, habitat, diet, behavior - The little brown bat, also known as the common brown bat, is found all throughout the United States and lower aspects of Canada. In the scheme of bats, this one is smaller (as its name implies), measuring between 3 and 5 inches of body length, with an average 11 inch wing span. While it is brown in coloration, areas of the bat may be dark enough to be considered black. The little brown bat is nocturnal for most of the year, but in the spring, it has been known to fly around catching insects during the day. These insects are primarily flying insects, such as midges, mosquitoes, caddisflies, mayflies, lace wings, moths, and beetles. According to the Wisconsin Bat Monitoring Program, little brown bats eat six hundred and ninety-four tons of insects a year. Reproduction takes places after the winter torpor, a period of hibernation where they roost without activity, entering a lower metabolic state. When they emerge from this stasis in the spring, the little brown bats will start the mating process, mating with multiple partners. After 50-60 days, females will give birth to a single pup that will cling to her body even as she flies out at night to hunt. If a little brown bat survives its first year of life, it can expect to have a lifespan of twenty or thirty years.
