Ann Arbor bat control

We are experts in bat control, and are not a typical Ann Arbor, Michigan bat exterminator company. We are the best in Washtenaw County. We do not use poisons or traps to remove bats, as both methods are illegal, not to mention that poison is inhumane. When removing bats, we use the humane exclusion barrier method to permanently keep bats away from your property. We completely solve your bat problem by taking these steps:

  • Inspect the entire property from top to bottom
  • Seal shut entry areas, no matter how small
  • Place one-way exclusion barriers over other entry areas
  • Monitor exclusion barriers for bat activity at dawn and dusk
  • Once there is no more activity and no more bats in your building, we're done
  • When necessary, we clean bat guano and replace damaged insulation

What Prices Do We Charge?

Every bat situation is different: How large is the bat colony? What type of building? Do you need cleanup? Call us and we can give pricing for your specific situation.

Ann Arbor bat removal tip of the month: Biology of Big Brown Bat: life cycle, habitat, diet, behavior - Like the little brown bat, the big brown bat is a common species found in all of the United States, southern regions of Canada, and even down into central and South America. It is not as common as the little brown bat, and some regions, such as New York's Adirondacks, have such small populations, the species is considered especially rare. Growing around an average of 5 inches in body length with an average wingspan of 13 inches, the big brown bat eats a diet primarily of beetles, though it will not pass up an easy meal of other flying insects. Like other bats, the big brown bat enters a period of dormancy during the winter months, emerging from this phase sometime in April when it will entering the mating season. Big brown bats bear two pups, though a single offspring is not uncommon. While the average lifespan of the big brown bat is only 2-3 years, without predatory and disease factors, these animals can live close to twenty.
